Stunningly illustrated facsimile of the original illuminated manuscript - a lovely combination of art and calligraphy - with introduction and commentary. Light brown cloth lettered in gilt, 7.5" x 5.5", 412 pages (including 170 color plates), matching light brown cloth slipcase. Some light spots to front cover of the book, otherwise about fine condition with good hinges, firm text block, clean pages, address label in the shape of a black cat at the upper corner of the front free endpaper, no other names or markings. The slipcase is also in very good condition with a few light spots to the spine, structurally sound.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good Slipcase. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
