Stuttgart, Gebrüder Franck, 1827-29. 12°, 324; 312; 360 S., HLdr. der Zeit, goldgeprägt. in späteren Schuber, Kanten berieben, Vorsätzet etwas stockfleckig, etwas gebrauchspurig. Hinterer fliegender Vorsatz des 3. Bdes. mit Eckabriss. Rücken des 3. Bds. am Fuss etwas angebrochen. Der 1. Bd in zweiter Auflage, restliche in EA. . Der 3. Bd. wurde von Wit, genannt von Dörring postum herausgegeben. - Gleich nach dem ersten Märchenalmanach, Hauffs Erstling, erschien das vorliegende Werk. Der junge Autor fand hier Gelegenheit, sein Talent zum Humor u. seine Neigung zur Satire u. Persiflage zur Geltung zu bringen. Bd. 1 enth. u. a. Unterhaltungen des Satans mit dem Ewigen Juden u. Satans Besuch bei Herrn Göthe. Die Fortsetzungen nach dem frühen Tod Hauffs sind v. Wit, gen. Dörring (Bd. 3) u. v. H. v. Canitz (Bd. 4 - fehlend) mit einem zweiten Titel «Streifereien des Satans auf der Erde. Aus dem diabolischen übersetzt...» -- Wilhelm Hauff (1802-1827 in Stuttgart, Königreich Württemberg), deutscher Schriftsteller der Romantik. Er gehörte zum Kreise der Schwäbischen Dichterschule. 010

Terms of payment

Invoices are to be paid within 15 days. For first orders we reserve delivery after payment in advance. In case of delay of payment, the second reminder is charged at an extra cost of CHF 10.00. Also, other additional costs are charged to the customer.

Sales return

In the event of a well-founded claim, the merchandise can be returned upon consultation within 14 days. If the claim turns out to be unsubstantiated, or the damage is the result from improper handling by the customer etc., all the costs are charged to the customer. Returns are only accepted with the invoice enclosed. Damages during shipment have to be notified within 48 hours. Otherwise the refund expires. Return upon dissatisfaction is excluded.

Place of venue

We are subject only to Swiss law. Place of venue is Zurich.
