Les panneaux montrent des frottements, surtout dans les coins, sinon propres et sains. Ex-bibliothèque, avec des timbres sur les collages frontaux vol. I et III, papiers finis en marbre manquant vol. II .. Encre d'écriture sur les papiers d'extrémité libre avant vol. Je donne des informations sur l'ouvre et son auteur. Nom de l'auteur écrit sur la page de titre de chaque volume, sinon les pages ne sont pas marquées. Vol. I comprend deux frontispices gravés et une illustration dépliante d'un camp de guerre. Brown calf bindings, gilt decoration, spine labels, marbled edges. Marbled end papers on volumes I and III, but not II. Boards show rubbing, especially at corners, else clean and sound. Ex-library, with stamps on front paste-downs vol. I and III, marbled end papers missing vol. II.. Ink writing on blank front free end papers of vol. I provides background on the work and its author. Name of author written on title page of each volume, else pages are unmarked. Vol. I includes two engraved frontispieces and fold out illustration of a war camp.
