Gary Edmundson was born in Sunderland in 1956. At the age of ten he emigrated with his family to Canada. He is currently settled in Fort Saskatchewan, working in the chemical industry as an analyzer technician. An interest in military aviation led to building military models for a hobby and Gary is now a regular contributor to military modeling magazines.

Steven van Beveren has had a lifelong interest in all things military that has led him to serve as a reservist in the Calgary Highlanders for a number of years. This interest in the military also led him to start building military models at an early age. Over the years, he has been a member of several different model clubs, participated in model shows and written several articles. He lives in Alberta, Canada.

Graeme Davidson is a serving officer in the Canadian Army and has been an active modeler for over 20 years. His work has recently been published in Military Modelling magazine and he is a regular contributor to the Missing-Lynx galleries. He lives in New Brunswick.

Media reviews

"Collections strong in modeling will welcome G. Edmundson, et. al.'s Modelling Armoured Vehicles, a fun survey of the steps involved in craeting a realistic model armored vehicle. From the basics of putting a kit together to realistic paint schemes and different display options, military modelers will welcome this." -The Bookwatch (February 2009)

"This book is a wealth of knowledge in a small package. It really is a one-stop shop for a beginning armor modeler. I highly recommend this to any beginner or intermediate modeler trying to improve his knowledge and skills of armor models. I really enjoyed the whole book. The authors had a lot of information to convey and I think they did a great job of doing it. For the money, this book is a real value for the average modeler. So if you are an airplane builder looking to branch out or an armor guy trying to improve your skills, this book is your answer." -Floyd S Werner, IPMS/USA (March 2009)

"An excellent step by step guide to building finishing and displaying todays model kits. Theres a lot of information in this little book. I would recommend this one without reservation." -Mike McLaughlin, Military Modeling - militarymodeling.com (February 2009)

"...a well rounded publication and a book that I can easily recommend to you. I know that every experience level will find it to be useful." -Scott Van Aken, modelingmadness.com (December 2008)
