F.A. Davis Company, 1926. Hardcover. Acceptable. Hardcover. Octavo. Dark green boards with patterned design around edges of boards. Scraped and scuffed. Dented and worn tips. Shelf wear to bottom of boards, along spine, and outside of boards. Thumbmark stains on lower corner of text block. Gilt lettering on spine faded. Former owner name on front end page. End pages and paste downs quite toned. Foxing. Split in gutter between flyleaf and title page. Glossy/slick paper-stock and some of the pages do tend to stick together. We have carefully attempted to unstick as many pages as possible. Some separation between page signatures. Tissue guards are present over the color plates. 1,479 pages. Heavy and will require additional postage as book weighs almost five pounds. We will happily supply photographs upon request.
