Vol. I, 4th edition, 1959; Vol. II, 3rd edition, 1955; Vol. III, 5th edition, 1960. 8vo (215x135mm). pp. 242; 328; [6], xiv, [1], 17-512, [1] advertisements. Original royal blue cloth lettered in gilt to spine. Some slight soiling to volume II but otherwise all in excellent condition. Original dustjackets in alternating Oxford and Cambridge blue with lettering printed in black and white. Some rubbing to the dustjacket particularly to the head the spine of volume I where there is a small chip. The head of the spine of the dust jacket of volume II is chipped. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs and line drawings. The contents are in excellent condition, very clean and bright. This is a very nice set of a what was described by "Shooting Times" as "The greatest and most comprehensive work on the subject. A landmark in the history of Shooting".
