A free comment on the late Mr. W-G-N's apology for his conduct; which clears up obscurities of that celebrated posthumous work and dissipates the clouds in which the author has thought proper to envelope his meaning. By a lady, in a letter to her friend in the country. London: Printed for W. Webb, in Pater-Noster-Row; 1748. 54 pages. ESTC T40174 where Winnington is identified as the name in the title. Some staining to the upper corners of most pages. Title page soiled. The two works are bound together in later paper covered boards. The leather spine has been replaced, retaining an old lettering label. The paper covering to the boards is worn.
