Original white dust jacket letter in black to upper cover and spine, protected by plastic wrapper. Original slipcase with the blurred photograph of a man in rowing boat. This too is protected by a transparent plastic wrapper. All in excellent, near fine/fine condition. The front pastedown has the bookplate of The Westons and a purple stamp reading "JWP. From the library of Jo Stafford and Paul Weston". Paul Weston was a composer and arranger, known as the "Father of Mood Music". He worked closely with Jo Stafford and they became a formidable musical double act. They married in 1952, performing together until their retirement in the early 1970s when they dedicated themselves to philanthropic projects and the creation of an important library. Their music library was given to the University of Arizona. This is particularly good copy of an important work of photography from a significant private collection.
