SIGNED/INSCRIBED by Irving Penn and dated 1961 (early signature) on the fep: "For Betty Houston / Irving Penn / New York, 1961". Book Condition: Near Fine; a tight, clean copy showing mild foxing to edges of front and rear endpapers and a previous owner's giftinscription beneath Penn's inscription; in a Good dust jacket with light overall foxing but spine missing (now in a clear brodart protector); housed in a Near Fine slipcase with light overall shelfwear. A solid, SIGNED copy of Penn's masterpiece.
