A fine book, clean and bright with only the authors signature to the half title page, in a near fine jacket which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown) with just a hint of rubbing to the head of the spine. All in all a very collectable copy of this marvellous book, the first to win both the Carnegie and the Greenaway Medals in the same year.
