In original full leather binding, with raised bands-- intact, boards tightly attached, with some minor tattering at top of spine, crack along 1" of top front hinge, some corner/edgewear. Overall a very attractive period binding. Front inside pastedown has small bookplate of "union library" -- no other library markings; inked signature of "John Baynton 1768" on FFEP. Wide ranging content including posthumous works of Swift and essays/reviews on nervous disorders, Johnson's edition of Shakespeare, ship building, Voltaire's philosophy, etc.
