Originally thought to be written by Homer himself, numerous other figures are considered to be the author of this work, including Pigres of Halicarnassus, Lucian, or even the Queen of Caria.
This 1721 Maichael Maittaire edition was printed as part of a very limited print run, one of only 204 copies given to subscribers. Notable names included in the subscriber list include Richard Mead, the Bishop of Winchester, and even Isaac Newton!
