New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons. Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1966. 2nd Printing. Hardcover. SIGNED EDITION. This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a Very Good+ dust jacket. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some light bumping to the spine ends of the book covers. The text pages are mostly clean and bright. The remnants of a previous owner's address label are visible on the front pastedown page. The edges of the text block have some toning and spotting. The dust jacket (with price of $5.95) has edge wear, some rubbing, small edge nicks and chips and some crazing to the spine joints and spine. This copy has been signed by the author on the second half title page (which is after the contents page). This book was the recipient of Heinlein's fourth and final Hugo Award given while he was alive ( there have been several "retro" Hugos given out to him since then) and is considered one of Heinlein's best works along with being one of the most influential science fiction novels ever written. This book was originally serialized in Worlds of IF Magazine (Dec 1965 through April 1966) and was the 1967 winner of the Hugo Award. It was also nominated for a Nebula Award for 1966. This book is credited with coining the acronym: TANSTAAFL (There Ain't No Such Thing as a Free Lunch) and is considered by many science fiction critics to be one of Heinlein's best works, comparable with Stranger in a Strange Land. ; Signed by Author .
