Toronto, ON, Canada: Thomas Allen, Limited, 1937. First Canadian Edition . Cloth. Very Good/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 201pp. Inscribed by the author to ffep. Grey-green cloth w lettering to spine. Adhesive ghosts from DJ cover to corners and spine. Small surface scuff to tail. Joints and hinges sound. Illustrated DJ shows soiling and wear commensurate w age and handling. Cracking to front flap fold. Shallow chipping to top corner and head and tail. Dried adhesive residue to back of DJ folds. DJ preserved in mylar cover. Duodecimo: 195 x 137mm. This is the sequel to Leaves from Lantern Lane (1936). Both volumes are collections of newspaper columns published by Nellie L. McClung (1873-1951) in a variety of Canadian newspapers.
