About the author

Emil Bock was born in Wuppertal, Germany in 1895. He was one of the foremost theologians of his day and had an important role in starting The Christian Community, founded under the guidance of Rudolf Steiner in 1992. He was responsible for its leadership from 1938 until his death in 1959. His other books include Genesis: Creation and the Patriarchs, The Three Years: The Life of Christ between Baptism and Ascension, and The Apocalypse of Saint John.
