Six chromolithograph plates and chromolithograph illustration of dog feeding a cat on front cover. Measures 10.5 x 9 inches. Other titles in this series and the Golden Light series printed on rear cover. Light wear to wrappers and spine and one tear to front wrappers at fore-edge repaired neatly with paper. Illustrations are remarkably fresh and vibrant. This copy compares to one held by the American Antiquarian Society which dates it between 1871-1874.
