Bound in publisher's blue cloth with blind-stamped decoration on front board, gilt spine. Corners lightly bumped, short tear in cloth at head of spine, slight spine slant. Internally sound and clean, unmarked other than an old bookseller's stamp on the front pastedown. No dust jacket. Conway's reflections on his lengthy climbing career. Includes discussion of adventures in the Alps, Andes, Himalaya, Spitsbergen, and more. Neate C106.
