An early title on collecting 'primitives' - tools and utensils for the homestead. Well illustrated, both with reproductions from early catalogue, and with photographs of a very wide range of relics, grouped chapter by chapter according to use - blacksmithing, tilling the soil, moonshinng, whittling, washing and ironing, baking and brewing, churning and mending. Not common. Hb in dw, dw largely complete, though with two or three tears, otherwise a very good copy..
