London: Viking, 2009. First Edition, First Printing. Hardback. Very Fine/Fine. The Book is very fine, square and tight. It is unmarked, with clean pages free of inscriptions or marks and has been signed by the author directly on to the title page. The edges pages show the normal slight yellowing due to ageing. The Dust Jacket is fine, unfaded, unclipped (£12.99) and is free of rips or tears. There is a small area of delamination (~5mm x 15mm) to the top edge of the back face adjacent to the spine. There is a round self-adhesive label on the front face stating 'Signed by the Author'. First Edition, First Printing - Signed by the author. All our books are covered with a clear, removable, chemically inert, protective wrapper before being securely bubble wrapped and dispatched in strong corrugated cardboard boxes.

Synopsis

Charles Elton worked as a designer and editor in publishing before becoming a literary agent.  Since 1991 he has worked in television and for the past ten years has been the executive producer in drama at ITV. Among his productions are the Oscar-nominated short Syrup, The Railway Children, Andrew Davies’s adaptation of Northanger Abbey, and the recent series Time of Your Life, all produced in association with WGBH Boston's Masterpiece Theater.
