1942. Peter Davies, London. 1942. First Edition. Hardback with DW. Frontis + illustrations. xxvii, 347 pages. Boards are sunned along bottom margins, slightly worn at extremities, and top corner of front board slightly creased. Pencil annotations to page margins and rear endpaper, the pages are very slightly browned o/w contents clean and sound. The wrapper is worn and slightly chipped and a little soiled and rubbed, the spine is sunned o/w a very good copy of this book in a SCARCE wrapper.
