[7], ix-xvii, [3], 3-376, [4] pp. Half yellow cloth over blue cloth with gold lettering on the front board and spine, decorations in red on the front board and spine; blue topstain. Price of $6.00 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Illustrated by a color frontispiece and several in-text black and white drawings of mustangs and their riders; illustrations done by Charles Banks Wilson. Graff 1100. A lovely copy of Dobie's "monument to all the "wild and free" horses ... that once were the glory of [the] Western ranges" A Near Fine book with a touch of fading to the topstain; dust jacket is Near Fine with minor rubbing to the tips of the spine panel and a small closed tear to the front panel.
