About This Item

New York, NY: New York Review of Books, 1999. Introduction by Elizabeth Marshall Thomas. New, unread copy. Numbered. Trade Paperback. Fine/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Synopsis

My Dog Tulip is an American independent animated feature film directed and animated by Paul Fierlinger. His wife, Sandra Fierlinger, painted the backgrounds and characters. It is based on the 1956 novel by J. R. Ackerley, which tells the story of a man's relationship with his German shepherd. Somewhat unusually for animated features, the film is geared toward the "adult sensibility" rather than children.
