Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1929. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. First edition. Hard cover. No jacket. Illustrations by A.L. Ripley. 182 pages. A collection of hunting stories involving the various hunting dogs owned by the author, editor for Field and Stream magazine in the 1920's and 30's and active in many conservation groups. In GOOD condition with moderate darkening to the covers. Moderate foxing to the spine and rear cover. Minor soiling and scuffing. Small paint spot on the front cover fore edge. Extremities scuffed with fraying to the head of the spine. Interior clean and solid. Minor foxing to the fore edge, not affecting the text.
