Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Moderate tanning to spine and edges.

Fatty, Larry, Daisy, Pip, Betsy and Buster the Scottie are here again, busy solving another mystery. Mr Goon is on the job too but making rather a muddle of it all. The book, although the sixth in a series, is quite complete in itself. Full-page illustrations by the talented J. Abbey accompany the text. Twenty-four chapters are provided. Back panel of book shows mild damp stain (not very noticeable not large). One illustration has edge chip. Light foxing to exterior text block. The price-intact dust jacket is a pictorial wrap-around illustrated by J. Abbey. Later Printing (Tenth). Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
