About This Item
London: G Bell & Sons, 1947. Creasing and small tears to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, with some small pieces missing along top edge. Minor bumping to spine ends of green boards, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Written for children, the book deals with the migration of animals and birds, via a story about two children being shown the animals on a television apparatus by an elderly naturalist (long before David Attenborough!). 300pp, numerous b&w drawings by the author.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. Illus. by Ogle, Richard. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
