About This Item
New York: D. Appleton-Century, 1938. Hardcover. Fair. Published by Appleton Century, 7th printing with the (7) on the last page. 1938 title page date Some rubbing to edges and corners bumped. Rubbing particularily on rear cover. This appears to be an ex-lib book with the library marking on the spine crossed off in black marker/ The rear cover shows removal of of pastedown on the rear inside cover and the front free endpaper. I am guessing this would have been a library stamp and a library 'due date' stamp.
