Paris: Libraire de Firmin-Didot et Cie, 1888. 4to. 886p., 12 chromolithographed plates, including the frontis, 1 two-tone portrait, and 391 in-text illustrations in black and white. Bound in half morocco leather with green marbled boards, with red marbled endpapers. Gilt borders to leather edges and gilt stamped borders to the compartmentsd with gilt titling on two. Very light rubbing to the board edges, with colour touch-ups to the leather in a few places. Light foxing throughout. Overall a good, clean copy in an attractive binding. Thick volume. Text in French.
