Some chipping to the cloth at the top of the vol 1 spine. Cloth tears along the left edge of the vol 1 spine. There is a split at the top of the spine at the back of vol 2 between the last text page and the end paper...despite the split, the back cover is still firmly attached and is not shaky. All front/back covers are firmly attached. Consistent foxing to the pages throughout both volumes; heavy foxing to the end papers and pastedowns. The rear end paper of vol 2 is partially affixed to the facing pastedown. Old name written in pencil on the vol 1 end paper. Overall the set is in Fair condition.
