Space Medicine Directorate, Office of Manned Space Flight, Introduction by author, bibliography of works in Russian on aviation medicine up to 1950s and author index. Plain text peach coloured paperback binding with black coloured illustration and titles to the front panel. First published in Russia in 1962, this book deals with Essays by various authors and various on aviation medicine, particularly Russian, prior to World War II. This is an ex-library copy, from the Defence Standards Laboratories Library, and has the faults of same: – library stamps to the title page, top right hand corner of the front panel, top left hand corner of the rear page and panel. Rubbing an creasing of the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels. Fading and some flecking to the back strip with a score mark to the front panel 4 inches from the top.
