Sewn binding tight, solid and square. Ivory linen endpapers. Pages of glossy paper. 220 illustrations. 60 maps portraying National Geographic's 112- year history of exploration, with first- hand accounts by such adventurers as Roald Amundsen, Scott Amundsen, Jacques Cousteau, Edmund Hillary, Richard Byrd, and many more.
