Offered is the premier issue of the "National Strike Bulletin" (Vol. 1 No. 1 - no year stated, although April 1972) published by the National Student Mobilization Committee to End the War out of New York City. A large single-sheet bulletin printed on both sides and measuring 17-3/8" by 22-3/4". Distributed at the April 22, 1972 demonstration and march in New York City organized by the SMC, it is headlined "Open Up the Antiwar University - ON TO APRIL 29 & MAY 4 [1972]" for upcoming strikes and marches on university campuses throughout the country. To accomplish this, they announce a "National Student Antiwar Conference TOMORROW!" (Emergency National Student Antiwar Conference on Sunday, April 23, at New York University in the Loeb Student Center - "Student representatives from campuses and high schools across the country need to meet together to plan strategy and actions against the war for next week and beyond"). Accompanied by an illustration of an airborne Richard Nixon dropping bombs from an open suit, the rear side contains a large photo of demonstrators and "STRIKE REPORTS" from campuses throughout the country.
