Ward, Lock & Co. Limited, 1111. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 279 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over green cloth. Black and white illustration plates. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding loose. Binding slightly loose. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces heavily tanned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Some additional marks and staining. Boards are slightly bowed. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with large tears, chipping and creasing. Spine noticeably sunned.

A previous owner's name in ink on the front free endpaper, dust jacket is edgeworn and missing the top of the spine, and there are small red stains on the dust jacket back panel.
