Publisher’s original light blue cloth, lettered in black on the spine and front cover, lg 8vo. The volume contains 63 chapters by noted authorities in Neotropical ornithology. The chapters are arranged under the following headings: New Taxa; Zoogeography and Distribution; Systematics; Evolution; Community and Population Ecology; Evolutionary and Behavioral Ecology; Breeding Biology; and Conservation. Name stamp of the Ron Sauey Memorial Library on rear endpaper and top page edge. Ron Sauey was co-founder of the International Crane Foundation, Baraboo, Wisconsin. No other ownership marks.
