Hardback edition in the Neue Europaeische Staats Und Reisegeographie series (Book 13), 1766, in full vellum binding with title label and handwritten “England” to spine. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - cream vellum boards slightly soiled. Binding tight and appears almost unopened - hinges sound. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; red wash to page-ends still glossy; text (Old High German), engraved title page and folding family tree bright and clear throughout. Includes a folded page of English coinage loosely inserted. A particularly well-preserved and handsome copy. Photographs available. Not an old library book.
