New York: Doubleday & Company, 1973. A Rutledge Book. Quarto (26 x 18.5 cm.), 223 pages. Illustrated with black & white photographs. FIRST EDITION. Eight women pros - all members of the Ladies Professional Golf Association - give lessons on how to improve one's golf game. The writers include Betty Burfeindt, Judy Rankin, Sandy Haynie, Mary Mills, Pam Barnett, Jane Blalock, Sandy Palmer, and Kathy Whitworth. In publisher's green cloth, gilt-titled on the spine and front board. Dust jacket has some light edgewear, and one closed tear with a tape repair. About very good. Inscribed on the free front endpaper by two of the contributors, Jane Blalock and Sandy Palmer. Jane Blalock joined the LPGA Women's Tour in 1969, and has been "one of the foremost women golfers of her time" (Evening Independent); she won the 1972 Dinah Shore Colgate Winners' Circle, and was voted into the Legends Hall of Fame in 2014. Sandy Palmer joined the LPGA in 1964 and was the winner of 19 championships.
