Owner's inscription to endpapers, otherwise pages bright and clean and free of marks, tears, soiling and staining. Bound in publisher's purple cloth with gilt title, author and publisher to spine. Covers lightly worn. An excellent copy of this standard reference work on the history and evolution of the BCP, including treatment of the American BCP.
