Illustrated title page, lower half of t.p. trimmed [approx. 12.7mm], not affecting text. Some soiling to spine and covers. Light foxing, otherwise interior clean, crisp. In very good condition. Aulus Gellus [125 AD-180 AD] composed his Attic Nights during a winter spent in the Attica Peninsula near Athens, Greece. It is comprised of notes on history, philosophy, grammar, poetry, and musings on other subjects.
