From the publisher

DYNAMO, real name Steven Frayne, was born in December 1982 and is a magician and illusionist from Bradford. He learned his first card tricks from his granddad and by mixing them with breakdancing he made his name on the magic scene winning the Bradford Magic Circle Championships in 2000.

Since then, he has become the only UK magician to rank in the Top 5 at the International Magic Convention and has travelled the world performing for everyone from Jay-Z to Prince Charles. His record-breaking show Dynamo: Magician Impossible was one the biggest TV hits of 2011. He now lives in London and this is his first book.

About the author

Dynamo grew up on the notorious Delph Hill housing estate, where he was raised by his mother while his father spent long periods in prison. At the same time, he was forced to battle a debilitating form of Crohn's disease as well as playground bullies. After being introduced to magic by his beloved granddad and receiving a loan from the Prince's Trust, he carved out a career as one of the most respected magician and illusionists in the world. His TV series "Dynamo: Magician Impossible" has broken all viewing records for UKTV channel Watch and has won three Broadcast Awards.
