About This Item

London: HarperCollins, 2017. First edition. Cloth. Fine/Fine. 9" by 6". None. A signed, first edition of this work of crime fiction by Scottish novelist Stuart MacBride. In the publisher's original black cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Signed by the author to the title page. Stuart MacBride is a Scottish writer who sets many of his novels in Aberdeen, which feature crime, science-fiction and collections of short stories. This novel is a spin-off from another series by Stuart MacBride which follows the adventures of DS Logan McRae, who has featured in fifteen novels between 2005 and 2015. Now We Are Dead tells the story of Detective Chief Inspector Roberta Steel, who was one of the secondary characters in the Logan McRae series. As with many of MacBride's other works, this novel explores corruption, danger and the fight for justice. In the original publisher's black cloth binding with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, lovely, with minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper in excellent condition, with minor shelf wear and the odd handling mark. 'Signed' sticker to the front of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Author's signature to the title page. Fine
