An unusually fresh and clean copy of one of the classic Winnie the Pooh books by A A Milne. This is the first year, first edition, published in December 1927. Dark red cloth binding literally unmarked,no writing labels,etc. tight solid binding and bright boards, with gold blocked front and back covers, all page edges in gilt, gold title on spine, no inscriptions or internal marks, and not 'cocked'. 103 pages, illustrated throughout by E H Shephard. With fine clean bright original jacket($1.00 price). One of the best book and jacket combo's I have seen! A splendid example for any book shelf!.
