This is the story of the archaeological expeditions in Nubia on the Nile River between 1960 and 1969. The dig was an archaeological salvage operation as some 30 countries worked to conserve or excavate ancient monuments, settlements, and cemeteries doomed to destruction by the rising waters of Egypt's High Dam at Assuan. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
