The short story revolves around a young protagonist named Odette who lives with her widowed mother, her Creole nurse and their aged butler in an old grey chateau by the Loire. After hearing thrilling stories of Bernadette and her vision of the Holy Virgin on the mountains, Odette decides that she must too seek the Holy Virgin. In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, smart. Lightly rubbed to the joints and the spine, with a small tear to the head of the spine. The text block is detached from the paper wraps, but is firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout. Good
