Contemporary marbled calf, boards bordered with a gilt roll, spine divided in six compartments stamped and ruled in gilt, red morocco label lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers. Corner cut from blank rear flyleaf. A touch of rubbing to extremities, small loss to head of spine. Ink ownership inscription of Grenville H. Wheler to title-page, Latin quote or note in ink to rear flyleaf. An attractive copy of the larger paper setting of this third and final Foulis edition of Cicero’s ‘De Officiis’.
