About This Item

New York, NY: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1955. Tight, square book with some rubbing and bumping to spine ends; dark blue cloth boards with gilt stamped title on spine; beautifully illustrated endpapers, colours still bright with no fading; page edges lightly toned, darker along top edge, but no other marks, foxing, or other blemishes to text. Brightly coloured dust jacket has some wear along edges, with chipping/paper loss at head and heel of spine; spine is heavily toned; now in protective poly cover. Overall, a nice copy of this forgotten mid-century novel.. Book Club (BCE/BOMC). Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
