Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Front free end paper is missing. Previous owner's inscription to front paste-down. Cracked at the hinges. Binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
