Ruark's memoir emphasizing the significance and continuing influence of growing up in North Carolina and the time spent in the outdoors with his grandfather, the sequel to The Old Man and the Boy. Faint odor of tobacco to the leaves; jacket with a few pieces of tape on its reverse and the folds' bottom edges very lightly touched up.
