Bookplate inside cover, "Not for Sale" pencilled above.. Red cloth with beveled edges, gilt lettering and t. e. g. xv, 432 pp. 76 bw plates with multiple images, 6141 bw illus. Foldout sheets of BW touchplates, #4 (London) missing. Very heavy, will require extra shipping. Illustrating all known marks and secondary marks of the old pewterers with a series of plates showing the chief types of their wares.
