Mild rubbing to covers with scattered light foxing to covers and page edges. Not remainder marked. A clean, unmarked copy in near fine condition. Harold Maples was editorial cartoonist for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for 27 years. From 1954 until his death in 1982, Maples drew over 7,000 cartoons for the papers editorial page. He was nationally recognized for his skillful execution and his timely subject matter, and imbued each illustration with a distinctive Texas flavor. . Signed by Author. First Edition. Original Wraps.
