Tommy LaMore grew up in Waco, Texas, before enlisting in the Air Force in 1942. He died in 1998. Dan Baker is a documentary filmmaker and writer living in San Francisco, California. He is currently doing research for a documentary on American fighting men held long-term behind enemy lines.
