London: Century, 1999. First edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine. 9.5" by 6". None. A signed first edition of Lindsey Davis' historical novel. Signed by the author to the title page. Lindsey Davis (born 1949) is an English historical novelist, best known as the author of the Falco series of historical crime stories set in ancient Rome and its empire. In a black cloth binding with gilt title detailing to the spine, and an unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart. Minor shelfwear, with light bumping to the extremities, and a few small marks to boards. The dustwrapper is very bright and strong, with just a little shelfwear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
